About
An ancient knot. A direct solution. A company built on the same principle.
The origin
In the ancient city of Gordium, an ox-cart was bound to a post by a knot so intricate that no one could untie it. Legend held that whoever loosened it would rule all of Asia.
Every challenger studied the knot, traced its loops, and failed. Alexander the Great drew his sword and cut it in two.
That is the founding principle of Gordion Solutions. Technology problems are not complicated because they lack talent or tools. They are complicated because they have accumulated layers of legacy, compromise, and workaround. Most consultancies study the knot. We cut it.
Most consultancies study the knot. We cut it.
Background
Gordion was not founded by people who read about enterprise technology. It was founded by people who built it — at scale, under pressure, in environments where failure was not an option.
Our team has delivered critical national infrastructure, shipped production software into Tier 1 banks, and brought agentic AI to general availability in regulated environments before most organisations had finished their proofs of concept.
We bring that background to every engagement — not as credentials on a slide, but as the instinct for what works under pressure and what does not.
Values
We build fewer things, better. Every line of code has a reason to exist.
We say what we mean, deliver what we promise, and do not dress up simple answers in complex language.
We build in Rust and choose memory-safe, high-performance foundations because security is the baseline, not a feature.
We measure ourselves by what ships and what works, not by how many hours we invoice.
We do not layer new technology onto broken foundations. We replace the foundations.
We use AI where it accelerates responsibly and refuse to use it where the risk of harm outweighs the speed.
We prefer doing the work to talking about it. But the conversation has to start somewhere.
